Patrick Henry High School serves kids from Del Cerro, San Carlos, Allied Gardens, Mission Valley, and the College Area as well as other areas of San Diego. We are located at 6702 Wandermere Dr, San Diego, CA 92120. It is the largest high school in the San Diego Unified District. Patrick Henry Wrestling has a rich history of continued excellence. Excellence that was exhibited in 2024-2025 by having ten CIF Placers, that result is a reflection of the hard work the wrestlers put in and the support of the community.
We average over 150 spectators a match with at least three home matches planned for our season and travel to tournaments throughout Southern California and a tournament that brings over 20 teams and over 1000 spectators. We ask you and your business to be part of our 2025-2026 season by being one of the sponsors of our season through a T-shirt sponsorship, which would provide the funds needed for entry fees to the tournaments for the boys, girls, JV, and freshman teams.
We want to have the opportunity to represent some of San Diego’s finest businesses this year as we wrestle throughout the city, county, and state! Your sponsorship will allow you to have your company’s logo printed on the back of the team t-shirt placed on the team website, and social media, and hung on a banner in the gym during home matches.We hope you will join us this year and be a part of our success.
With big goals, we have even greater needs. Our team is expected to expand to over 50 kids expected to join the team, an increase of almost 50%. Patrick Henry will includes boys and girls Varsity, JV team, and Freshman teams. To get all of these wrestlers matches we have to send them to tournaments the costs of these are nearly $5,000.
We also expect to travel to offer the greatest opportunity to our varsity to ensure their success and potential college chances. We want to help our management team to have additional iPads so they can film matches and take scores electronically. We would like to upgrade the room to have crash pads and additional climbing ropes. We would like to upgrade the gym with a spotlight and also provide our wrestlers with scholarships for summer camps.
These goals are not free, they require blood, sweat, dedication, and funds. They also require our community. Because we are nothing without our community, we ask our community for help to hit our goals, and we have faith that the community will help and become a part of our success.
