Patrick Henry High School is one of the top High Schools in San Diego County for academics and sports (#24 in US News and World). It is the top school in California for Engineering. It includes dozens of clubs and sports.
Patrick Henry Wrestling Team has been competing since 1970. We are a Division 1 program in the Western League of San Diego Conference. In 2025 we placed 3rd in San Diego and 11th at CIF D1 Section.

2nd Annual Peter Gidlund Memorial Expands
Last year, Patriots hosted their first tournament in exactly 40 years. It was the 10th anniversary of Peter Gidlund’s passing, an alumni who wrestled for the Oregon State Pac 10 Championship team.
