After a set of two losses at Torrey Pines last week, Patrick Henry wrestlers dug deep to improve over three days and create big wins on Monday, wining their first home match on the first day of the Thanksgiving break.
Big wins came to a first year freshman wrestler Abudullah Alshami by pin. Winning by pins were also freshman Ethan Vinoray and his brother senior Elijah Vinoray who are now both 3-0. Captain Mikey Krause suffered his first loss as a result of injury while senior and first year wrestler Aedyn Jamison, Zeckerallah Ahrari won their matches.
Returning wrestlers Barrett Talbot and Francisco Saroldi-Gonzalez both won their matches by pin, helping Patriots clinch the first win of the season before a lively home crowd.
