On January 5th second league match between Henry and Scripps was expected to be a tough match as last year only one point separated the two teams.
This year however Henry resoundingly beat Falcons. The toughest matchup included Jake Lozano at 152. Lozano was matched up with a top 30 in California June Melchior to whom he lost in second period.

Seniors Owen Heising and junior Mikey Krause won their matches with pins while first year wrestler Francisco Gonzalez won by Technical Criteria, besting opponent by 15 points.

After the match, the Patriots are in the running for a Western City League team championship with five wrestlers in the running for an individual League championship.
Hilltop Duals
The following Saturday Patriots competed at the Hilltop Duals. Patriots wrestled five teams including Canyon Crest, Otay Ranch, Rancho Buena Vista, Mira Mesa and Eastlake High School.
The team beat all but Eastlake clinching 2nd place out of ten participating teams.
