Second Place Finish for Team at City Conference Championship

Henry Wrestling came in second out of seventeen teams at the 2021 annual Willie Jones Jr. Memorial City Conference Championship. The patriots had five wrestlers in the finals Freshman Alex Adler at 106lbs, Sophomore Elijah Vinory at 145lbs, Senior Evan Adler at 152lbs, Junior Jared Hollander at 170lbs and Senior David Hetter at 182lbs.

Elijah Vinory powered his way to the finals pinning all four of his opponents to win a city championship. Junior Jared Hollander avenged a previous loss this season by decisioning his Cathedral Catholic 7-1 to claim his championship. David Hetter won his match 7-4 claiming back to back titles.

Alex Adler and Evan Adler placed second and Junior Owen Hiesing placed third. Overall as a team Henry compiled 140.0 team points to take the second place trophy.
